Assistant – Associate Professor of Marketing
Salary Range: £32,500 to £42,160 per annum

Applications are invited for the above full-time faculty position. The position will commence in late August 2010. Applicants are required to have a PhD in the relevant subject area, and preferably some work experience in the field, together with an active research agenda.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching, preferably with students from diverse cultural and educational backgrounds. Familiarity with the American liberal arts system of education, and dedication to working closely with students in a small university environment would be an advantage. Preference will be given to candidates with who can demonstrate an international perspective with respect to their teaching and research.
The successful candidates will be required to develop and teach undergraduate courses at introductory, intermediate and advanced levels within the specialisation of marketing and closely related areas. The successful candidate will advise students on academic issues and participate in the development of the business administration degree.
This is a permanent position subject to satisfactory completion of a one year fixed-term probationary contract. The appointment will be made at a salary level commensurate with teaching, research experience and record of publication. Associate Professor of International Relations
Salary range £36,390-£42,160

Richmond, The American International University in London seeks to appoint a faculty member in International Relations to begin in late August 2010. A completed Ph.D. in International Relations, proven ability as an outstanding lecturer and a record of publication are essential requirements. As Richmond is an international university with students from over 100 countries and has a distinct international/intercultural mission, an international outlook and experience of both US and UK systems of higher education would be a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate will be required to develop and teach courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and to play a leadership role in planning future directions for Richmond’s undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in International Relations.
Preference will be given to candidates with the ability to teach International Relations Theory and Research Methodology to a postgraduate level. In addition the ability to teach undergraduate courses in two or more of the following areas would be a distinct advantage;
• Foreign Policy Analysis
• U.S. Foreign Policy
• Politics of the Middle East
• Comparative Political Systems
• Conflict & Peace Studies/Simulations
