The Office of Career Services hosts a range of events, lectures and seminars throughout the academic year. These are open to all Richmond students, study abroad students and interns, as well as recent graduates.

Get Involved!

This seminar is for any student interested in gaining skills and experience outside of the classroom while at University. Although we will focus mainly on ways of getting involved on campus, there are also opportunities to volunteer in the community and work part time in and around London.

If your CV is lacking in skills and work experience, this seminar is a great place to start.

Whether are interviewing for a job or going to an event to network with potential employers, you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Join our style consultants for an informative, interactive seminar on how to dress professionally and still stay within your budget. If you are hitting the job market for the first time, you won't want to miss this seminar.


UK/US Immigration Seminar

Join our colleagues from AGS Immigration Services and get the most up-to-date information about post study work visas, work permits and changes in student visa regulations.

If you are considering staying in the UK after graduation, this will be an important seminar for you. Please come with questions. There will be ample opportunity to speak with the presenters after the seminar.


Internship Open House

Internships play an important role in helping students gain experience and enter the work force with confidence.

Join Richmond's Director of the International Internship Program for an informative seminar on internship offerings at Richmond. In addition to meeting Dr. Kazan, you will also have the opportunity to speak to students who have completed internships through the University.

International Internship Program

After graduating from Richmond with a BA in Economics in May of 2006, Byron attended the U.S. Army's Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA; where he graduated with a commission as an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army.
