Students with Disabilities

Richmond, The American International University in London, welcomes applications from students with disabilities. These disabilties might include a physical or sensory impairment, a medical or psychiatric condition or a specific learning difficulty such as dyslexia, and may require additional support or adaptations to our facilities. Richmond endeavours to make all practical and reasonable adjustments to ensure students are able to fully participate in the University community.
For students with diagnosed learning disabilities, we ask that you bring offical medical documentation with you to new student orientation that describes your specific disability. This documentation will be reviewed by the Office of Academic Affairs for academic concessions. For students with physical disabilties, we ask that you communicate with the Office of Student Affairs as soon as you can so that the Property Services department can make any physical adjustments possible to accommodate you. All of your information will be kept in confidential files in the Office of Student Affairs.
In addition to offical medical documentation, we ask that students with diagnosed learning disabilities to complete a Disabilty Form for their University file.
For questions or concerns about the University's student disability policy, please contact Allison Cole-Stutz, Dean of Students.
