Mr Trevor Morris

Trevor Morris is Visiting Professor in Public Relations at the University of Westminster and an author, business consultant and mentor.He is featured in PRWeek's list of the most influential people in PR.

In over a quarter of a century in the PR industry he successfully built and sold a major PR consultancy , was the CEO of the UK’s largest PR group and advised numerous major companies and organisations.

He is the co-author of ‘Public Relations for Asia’ published by Palgrave Macmillan. Two further books, 'Public Relations for New Europe' and ‘PR- a Persuasive Industry? Spin, Public Relations and the Shaping of the Modern Media’ are due out in the autumn.

As a lecturer Trevor has taught at Westminster University, the Sorbonne, City University, Exeter University, John Hopkins University and Manchester Business School.

He has a BA Combined Honours in History and Politics from Exeter University, 1977, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from University of London, 2005.

Former colleagues include Lord Tim Bell ( former PR advisor to Prime Minister Thatcher) David Hill ( former director of communications for Prime Minister Tony Blair) and Sophie Rhys-Jones ( the Countess of Wessex).

Outside of PR my interests are literary fiction, football ( Fulham!) and travelling and walking

BA International Relations

After finishing his BA at Richmond in December 2008, Perry relocated to Beijing in order to work with a non-profit organization called Prevention Through Education. The group aims to reduce the infection rate of HIV/AIDS throughout China but particularly in the student community.
