March UIS/PowerCampus Demo

In March, PowerCampus will host a demonstration of the new UIS system.

In the fall, the UIS Communications Team created an internal information site. The site provides students, faculty and staff with community-wide information regarding issues relating to the implementation of PowerCampus’ University Information System (UIS). UIS replaces SIS and integrates information systems used in other University departments. UIS will connect all departments and link us together into one University-wide information system.

The Communications Team is responsible for formal communications to the Richmond community. Status reports, trip reports from consultants, kick-off meetings and campus wide communications are examples of the items that the Communications Team oversees. Other teams assisting with UIS implementation include Data Standards/Migration, IT, Reporting Strategy, Interface, and the Portal/Online team.
