The first point of contact for all IT related queries (beyond these webpages here) should be the lab supervisors.

If a lab supervisor not available, an IT/AV Helpline Form should be submitted. All requests for Audio-Visual equipment should be made by submitting an IT/AV Helpline Form. When submitting a request, it is useful to include as much detail as possible including your location and the specific problem(s) you are experiencing. This will help us to resolve the problem as efficiently as possible and thus limiting disruption to you.

These simple checks can be made to save yourselves time:

Common situations of difficulty, such as application problems, printing problems, etc., can often be resolved by Restarting (Shut down and power up) the machine in order to refresh the system. (Remember to save any open files before restarting.)

When printing a document, always check to which printer the document is being sent—there are now two printers in most computer labs. Check that the paper size is properly set; for most printers this is A4, however, documents set to Letter, the American standard, will often print successfully.  If the printer is in need of toner, submit an IT/AV Helpline Form indicating the make and model of the printer.

Regularly clean out your deleted items folder, as well as your sent items folder, within Outlook. This will prevent you from running over your mailbox limit.

Regularly clean out your H: drive of old documents which you do not need any more. Your History and your Cookies (in Internet Explorer Options menu) can also be cleared out to ensure that your account does not also exceed its size limit.
